About Tempron
Tempron Products Corporation produces exceptionally high quality bonding / rubber bonding for demanding environments, and our expertise lies in bonding PTFE/TFM to rubber for diaphragms and seals. Our diaphragms and seals are used in the chemical process industry, ultra pure semiconductor, medical, biomedical and water purification applications. These diaphragms, can be homogenous, fabric reinforced, PTFE/TFM, PTFE faced or a combination, depending upon your design needs.
We will work with you in the design process and recommend various rubber compounds to fit your product specifications. We mold top quality, high performance diaphragms, rubber bonding, bonded assemblies and precision all rubber parts at an economical cost.
Our facility has eleven molding presses, four of which are vacuum presses. Tempron also possesses its own mixing facilities with one internal mixer, two mills and one mill calendar. Tempron has the capability to create custom rubber compounds for any of your specific requirements. We mold natural rubber as well as most synthetic rubbers, but specialize in the fluoroelastomers.
We also offer design assistance and can make recommendations on material selection. We have assisted in the design and production of diaphragms with PTFE facing that have a proven flex life in excess of 200 million flexures.
Tempron Products Corporation was founded in 1959 by Herbert D. Schmidt as a custom rubber molder of primarily rubber to metal bonded assemblies. The company was then operated by his sons Harold and Edward who took over operations in 1974 upon the retirement of Mr. Schmidt. Today, Harold's stepson Robert William has taken over operations and continues to ensure Tempron Products' customers receive the quality and reliability they have come to expect.
